The Linden Town Week 2010 opening ceremony was held on the 25th April, 2010 under the theme ‘Uniting Cultures and Diversities of Men in 2010’
It started with a grand march pass followed by a variety of dances, singing, poetry and skits. Prime Minister and at the time Acting President Samuel Hinds graced the stage with his presence and a short speech.
The guest speaker was Dr. Vincent Adams who spoke boldly and optimistically about future opportunities for Linden and Guyana in a whole.
Other dignitaries present were the chairman of the I.M.C Orin Gordon, Regional Chairman R.D.C, Linden Fund U.S.A Team and Mr. Horace James, C.E.O Linmine. |
